The Launch

Wave Uniforms began as a humble home-based business, founded by Sarah Phillips, driven by her passion for quality and her deep understanding of the yachting industry. With samples stored in a small storage unit, Sarah managed everything herself—from product sourcing to taking custom orders and personally delivering uniforms yacht-to-yacht across the ports of Palma de Mallorca. Her dedication to building strong relationships with clients and ensuring each order met the highest standards of craftsmanship quickly gained her a loyal customer base.

What started as a one-woman operation has evolved into a thriving business, now offering a full range of high-quality crew uniforms. 2017

The start of the team

Garth joined Wave Uniforms, bringing with him a strong background in the yachting industry and a deep understanding of the unique needs of its professionals. His arrival marked an important moment in the company’s evolution, as his expertise in both yachting and customer service allowed him to seamlessly step into the role of Sales Manager. In this position, Garth quickly became instrumental in expanding Wave Uniforms' client base and refining the company's approach to serving its customers. His ability to connect with clients, combined with his in-depth knowledge of yachting life, enabled Wave Uniforms to deliver uniforms that were not only functional but also perfectly suited to the industry’s high standards.

Later that year, Garth became a partner at Wave Uniforms, cementing his role as a key figure in the company’s growth. His vision and commitment have been vital in driving the brand forward, ensuring it remains a trusted name in the yachting world. 2018

Showroom

Wave Uniforms took a significant step forward by opening a dedicated showroom on Avda Joan Miró, available exclusively by appointment. This move not only marked an important milestone for the company but also enhanced the overall customer experience. By offering clients the opportunity to visit the showroom in person, Wave Uniforms created a space where they could engage with the products on a deeper level—seeing, feeling, and trying on the high-quality uniforms firsthand. This tactile experience allowed clients to appreciate the craftsmanship, fit, and materials in a way that digital interactions couldn't replicate.

The showroom also provided a more intimate and personalized service, allowing clients to consult with experts, receive tailored recommendations, and find the perfect uniform for their needs. process optimization

During the process optimization phase, Ashley Phillips was introduced to the company and played a pivotal role in modernizing its operations. He implemented an advanced stock management process system, which not only improved the efficiency of inventory control but also reduced overhead costs and minimized stock discrepancies. This system allowed the company to better anticipate demand, optimize order fulfillment, and ensure timely restocking, creating a more seamless flow across the supply chain.

Re-brand

The company made a strategic decision to embark on a full rebrand, recognizing that its previous visual identity no longer aligned with its evolving goals and image. As part of this initiative, the company unveiled a sleek and modern logo to replace the old one, which had become somewhat outdated over the years.
